The idea behind the trick is to save a player who was downed on a high building. Rather than wasting time and rushing to the top of the building, the goal is for the player to simply drop down and get “caught” by their teammates. If performed correctly, the player will drop down unharmed and the Warzone squad can revive the teammate in a matter of seconds.

The trick has been taught and spread through the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit. The wounded player must carefully edge off the building and fall towards their teammates. The team must carefully predict the fall and go directly under the player. Once they are in range, trigger a revive and the player will stop falling and instead slowly drift until the revive finishes. This allows players on the ground to save their teammates from tall buildings, the Stadium, or any other high place that players often get stuck.
This trick can come in handy and is useful to any ambitious team looking for new skills. Theoretically, the same trick can work at any height and in a variety of strange situations. As Warzone can be an unpredictable battlefield players must take every lesson carefully.
Call of Duty: Warzone fans have been sharing various clutch save clips around the subreddit for several days. One of the first, and extremely risky, clips to appear was from KuzushiKavanagh showing the trick in action as they catch a friend falling from Stadium. The earliest posting of this trick is from GreekFire04 who used the trick without any prior knowledge to save their Warzone teammate from a rooftop.
Fans are recommended to practice this trick in a safer low-risk situation before trying to catch any high falls. Although the trick looks simple, it takes some skill to time it perfectly. One wrong move and teammates will die and be sent straight to the Gulag.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
